About Coach Nicolosi

Angelo Nicolosi was a member of the St. Thomas (Miami) Bobcats' baseball team, playing for coach Manny Mantrana. After earning his bachelor's in sports administration, he got his shot at professional baseball in Turino, Italy. Playing for the Avigliana L'Ape's in Turino, Nicolosi compiled a 2.01 ERA in 136 innings of work and was named the Most Valuable Player of the A-2 Series. Following the season, Nicolosi decided to return to the States and St. Thomas, to resume his education. While obtaining his M.B.A., he also was a coach with the St. Thomas Bobcats Baseball team. Angelo is now an assistant coach with Tallahassee Community College, one of the country's elite two year programs. Coaching alongside legendary head coach Mike McLeod, former Major League all-star Coach Dean Palmer, and former Major League pitcher Coach William "Boo" Taylor, Angelo's duties at Tallahassee include working with outfielders and catchers, and coaching first base.
